1. General Storage Questions

1.1 Do I Need Insurance When I Store My Property With DSR

Yes. In order to store any kind of property in our Outdoor Vehicle Storage Compound or in one of our 10×10 self storage units or 5×10 mini storage units you must be able to provide proof of insurance. If your existing homeowners, business, or vehicle insurance policies do not provide sufficient coverage we can help you buy suitable, cost-effective, insurance.

1.2 What Documentation & Initial Payments Are Required To Rent Storage Space?

You willl need to provide the following documentation to sign a storage space lease:

• A government-issued Photo ID, like a driver’s license, state ID, or passport
• Proof of suitable Storage Insurance (if you cannot provide this, suitable third party insurance is available for purchase at the Storage Facility)

You will also need to make the following payments:

• $20 Administration Fee
• $20 Deposit for your storage facility keycard (which will be refunded to you when the keycard is returned at the end of your rental agreement)
• Payments are due monthly, with a minimum of 1 month rental, due in advance

1.3 What Are The Payment Options For DSR Storage Space Rental?

We accept: Cash, Check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover

1.4 When Can I Sign A Lease And Move My Belongings Into Storage?

You can sign a lease anytime during regular business hours. If a storage space that meets your needs is available, with 24/7 access, you can move in anytime.

1.5 What Security Protocols Are In Place At DSR Storage To Keep My Property Secure?

The DSR Storage Facility is accessible through a security gate that operates on keycard access. Additionally, the entire Storage Compound is outfitted with a lighting system and a high-definition security camera system, with IR night-vision capability, that records all activities 24/7.

1.6 Are There Items I’m Not Allowed To Store In A DSR Storage Unit?

We have a list of Prohibited Items, including: Liquids, Flammable Liquids, Explosives, Fireworks, Guns, Toxic Materials, Foods and Perishables… For a more comprehensive list of prohibited items and behaviors, please see our Storage Rental Terms or Contact The Office for assistance.

2. Outdoor Vehicle Storage Questions

2.1 Am I Required To Sign A Long-Term Lease To Use The DSR Vehicle Storage Compound?

No. We rent outdoor storage spaces on a month-to-month basis. Although we do offer discounts for 6 month rental agreements.

2.2 Can I Access My Stored Vehicle Outside Of Office Hours?

Yes. You’ll be provided with your own keycard for 24/7 access through our security gate.

2.3 Does DSR Offer Indoor Vehicle Storage

No. Vehicles may be very cost-effectively stored in our Outdoor Vehicle Storage Compound, but we do NOT offer Indoor Vehicle Storage. Small vehicles, like Motorcycles, ATVs, Snowmobiles… may fit into one of our 10×10 Self Storage or 5×10 Mini Storage units. Contact The Office for more information.

3. Questions Specific to Self-Storage & Mini Storage Units

3.1 Are DSR Storage Units Weatherproof & Temperature Controlled

DSR 10×10 self storage units and 5×10 mini storage units are located outside, in our Secure Storage Compound. All Storage Units are clean, dry and weatherproof, but they are NOT equipped with Temperature Control or Humidity Control.

3.2 How Much Notice Is Required Before Terminating My Storage Unit Lease?

Our month-to-month contracts require notice of lease termination at least 10 days before the end of the month.

3.3 Do You Provide Boxes And Other Storage Supplies?

No. We currently do NOT sell boxes or other storage supplies and we do NOT have moving equipment, such as hand carts and dollies, available.

4. Business Storage Questions

4.1. Can My Business Store Inventory In A DSR Storage Unit?

DSR offers business-friendly storage solutions with storage units that provide convenient, affordable, space to store inventory, equipment, parts, and supplies. Our 10×10 self storage units and 5×10 mini storage units are secure, clean, and weatherproof, but they are not temperature controlled. You may access your storage unit as frequently as you like, 24/7/365.

4.2. Can My Business Store Regularly Used Vehicles In The DSR Storage Compound?

DSR does allow parking and storage of personal or commercial vehicles, of all kinds and sizes, including regularly used or driven vehicles. Many local businesses find our secure vehicle storage compound to be a very cost-effective solution for their overflow parking requirements.

4.3. Can My Business Store Equipment In The DSR Storage Compound?

DSR does allow storage of clean, light or heavy, equipment in our Outside Storage Compound.
